hi..i have understood your feelings and symptoms.. i feel that the heaviness u feel in your legs is a part of presentation of atypical
depression. this is a variant of the depression and it is different from the typical one...
u have not mentioned all your symptoms here but atypical depression presents with reactive mood [means they become happy with good news and sad with bad news, mood is reactive to stress], they eat more, they sleep more, they have leaden feeling in their legs, they are sensitive to rejection from the close relatives..
and other feelings of depression are common like, lack of concentration ,
tiredness, fatigue, sense of worthlessness, hopelessness...etc..
these kind of depression can be treated with
antidepressant medications like SSRI and
bupropion..
medications i am suggesting here, u shud take any one of these:
tablet.
fluoxetine [prozac 20 mg] in the morning after breakfast..or
tablet. bupropion [
wellbutrin 150 mg] in the morning after breakfast..
u shud take this medication for at least 6 to 8 months for complete recovery and do not stop it without advice from the expert..
if u are facing the sleep problems then u can take tab. zolpidem [ambien 10 mg] at bed time...
if u hve significant anxiety feeling then u can take tab.
clonazepam [0.25 mg, klonopin] twice daily reduce it gradually and stop within 2 mnths of starting it..
i hope u ll find this advice helpful.. best of luck,,,
