What Is The Cause And Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain?
hi I m having severe stomach pains which can only be described as a sharp pain that comes in waves. When the pain comes i tend to be quite cold in comparison to between waves when i feel very hot! Should i go to the hospital ASAP ? Should I try to Sleep it off ? Are there any things i can do to try to ease the pain?
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern. There are number of causes for sharp shouting pain in stomach. Bowel obstruction, appendicitis, urinary stone, gall bladder inflammation, etc. are some of them. You have not mentioned you age and sex. You have also not mentioned other relevant history like exact location of pain and its radiation to other sites, any problem in stool or urine, vomiting, etc. Medicines are available to suppress this kind of pain but it is not advisable to do so without arriving at a diagnoses. I advise you should visit a nearby doctor for evaluation and diagnoses. Hope this will be helpful. Do ask if any further question is there. Thanks for using HCM. Take care.
