What Is The Cause And Treatment For Staphylococcus?
Hello, good day. I am chidi from nigeria. Pls I have something bothering me. For some time my body has been acting funny until I decided to conduct a test which shows that I have heavy growth of staph. Pls can you help and pescribe some antibiotics for the cure, pls?
Hello Chidi Thanks for posting on HCM Many people carry staph bacteria on the skin but never develop staph infection. However, staph infections can become very deadly if the bacteria invades deeper into your body. Many types of staph bacteria exist. With respect to the strain identified, various antibiotics can be prescribed.Antibiotics commonly prescribed for staph infections include: certain cephalosporins, nafcillin or related antibiotics, sulfa drugs or vancomycin. So many strains of staph have become resistant to traditional antibiotics and this explains why vancomycin is increasingly being used for severe staph ifections. However, an antibiotic sensitivity test will be useful to identify the antibiotic to which your strain of staph is sensitive. I will suggest you see a Doctor for an antibiotic sensitivity test and prescription to do away with the effect with certainty. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
