Hi, I have been experiencing back problems for several months. It started after i got back from Drum corps which is marching band across the country fro 2 months. We have to hold our bodies differently then normal, I heard that it is common for back problems. Today it was the worst its ever been. I couldn t stand up for an hour.
Yes it is common .and is because of constant stretch of lower back muscles.that we call as lumbar muscle strain . It will slowly resolve .you need to avoid further injury to back muscle by not doing any activity that aggrevates your pain.consult a physiotherapist for low back exercises . You can use lumbar belt that will help in pain control and will prevent further spasm and injury.if pain is severe , causing problems with your day to day activities then you can take some pain killers with muscle relaxant in supervision with a orthopaedic surgeon .
