What Is The Cause Foe Weight Gain,hair Loss And Knee Pain When On Thyronorm?

hemcgllo doctor, my TSH level is 13.36 and i take thyronorm 50mcg, i have plenty of hair loss , i gaining lot of weight , my age is 38 & iam 80 kg , height 5.1...... my knees are paining , i dont get sleep at night , my memory power is getting low , my legs get swollen. my eyes are always burnning, and i am always tired.

Hi dear,
Good day. Your blood levels of TSH indicates that you are still hypothyroid. Are you taking Thyroorm 50 mg daily on empty stomach. If yes, then you should increase the dose. Yes, your symptoms could be due to hypothyroidism. The knee pain is probably related to your excess body weight. Please consult your endocrinologist/physician to adjust the dose.
