Hello friend,
A lump at the site of a bruise is because of the haematoma. It is because, there had been subcutaneous bleeding at the site of injury. It is now confined locally to form the lump. These are all defence mechanisms of the body. Now there is nothing to be alarmed about it. The lump will gradually get dissolved and then the lump will get less in size and the pain also will be relieved.
If the pain and the lump gives you pain and sufferings, you can take Arnica 30, a Homoeopathic medicine, every 3 hours to start with, then 4 times a day and finally 3 times a day as and when you feel better.
With best wishes,
