What Is The Cause For Bleeding In The Bladder?

I had a total hysterectomy (including removal of ovaries) on 3/12. On 3/26 I was trying to close my recliner and strained myself. I started bleeding bright red blood that night. Bad cramps and back ache too. On the following Monday my Dr called in antibiotics to treat bladder infection. Back pain eased some but still bled. Saw Associate Dr last Thursday. He said all appears intact but small vessels burst. Still have bright red blood more at night. How long will this continue? Still having pelvic pain too.

Hello,

The bedding can last until the infection is cleared up completely. Continue taking the antibiotics as prescribed. The symptoms will subside in a week or so.

Hope this answers your question
