What Is The Cause For Headache, distended Abdomen And Back Pain When On Milk Of Magnesia?

I just got out of the hospital after of week of treating what I thought was chronic pancreatitis. I had a problem moving my bowels and was sent home after 4 days of not moving them....taking senna tabs and murilax several days with no relief. I got home and took 4 tbs of milk of magnesia and bowels moved with 2 hours twice. Now I am having a headache, distended abdomen and back pain. Do you think this is anything to be concerned about?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that you have some infection of the gut, hence the distension, and back pain. Headache could be due to the rise in temperature,or change in the intestinal contents.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel. painkillers when ever necessary.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
