What Is The Cause For Headaches,nosebleeds And Muscle Pain?

My boyfriend and his roommate are having headaches, vomiting, nosebleeds and have slightly bloodshot eyes and muscle pains. I ve researched this and have only found Ebola fever... Are there any other possibilities? My boyfriend had a flue shot but his roommate did not.
