What Is The Cause For Itchy Eyelids After The Use Of Contact Lenses?
i wear contact lenses and recently have had itchy eyelids toward the end of my work day. When i remove my contacts i notice i have tiny little white bubbles on the inner upper eyelid... its very itchy but by morning its gone and so is the itch. Could this be due to allergies or is it something else?
Hello it seems from the history that you are using contact lenses and having symptoms of itching of the eyes. This is because of allergy to the contact lens commonly called as papillary conjunctivitis. The treatment is by use of anti-allergic eye drops. In cases of severe allergy associated with severe allergy the contact lens may have to be discontinued for some days till the condition is improved.
Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
