I would keep a possibility of Alopecia universalis. It develops as sudden or gradually progressive hair loss over the entire body. Etiology is autoimmune. Testing for thyroid(thyroid function tests) and other autoimmune conditions should be done.
I don't think lortab or hydrocodone or the kind of food intake has any relation to alopecia.
I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis and appropriate measurement.
Alopecia universalis is commonly managed by oral steroids which can be given either as pulse steroids or as daily oral dosage by your treating dermatologist.
Other treatment modalities are immunosuppresants like methotrexate, cyclosporine, Azathioprine etc which can only be taken under the supervision of a dermatologist and require monitoring for liver, kidney and bone marrow functions.
take care regards
