What Is The Cause For Racing Heart While On Metropolol?
I take metropolol, and it has done a good job. I have been on it for about 15 years. I came to Colorado 3 weeks ago from Missouri. about 1 and 1/2 weeks ago my heart started racing at times it s 138-150. I feel shakey and weak. Do you know what could be going on?

The cause might be cardiac conduction defects &/or hyperthyroidism
