What Is The Cause For Sharp Pain From Lower Butt Cheek?

Hi, I have a pain that seem to keep growing sharper and sharper it's on the inside of lower left butt cheek near the anus my mom who is an retired assistant nurse says it may an abscess or a plit or something it really hurts to sit and sleeping on either side has really become a struggle Running is also out of the question as well can you please help me?

This type of pain near anus may be .
1 Fissure in anus , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a primary care physician .
2 Hemorrhoids , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a G P .
3 Abscess , such type of pain may be due to bacterial infection responsible for abscess formation.Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination .
In my opinion it is very difficult to say anything without physical examination so consult a G P and get his opinion.
