What Is The Cause For Swollen Legs When On Norvac?
I am taking Norvac for three weeks, now I have swollen legs now both my legs are swollen. The doctor gave me another medicine to make me urinate but it doesn't seem to be working. I do drink lot of water and I don't use a lot of salt in my diet. I am 58.
One of the side effects of it is the swollen legs as it keeps water inside your body. I suggest to discuss this side effect with your doctor to change therapy.
If I was your caring doctor will start a morning diuretic and ACE inhibitor drugs and keep following up with EKG, cardiac echo, holter monitoring with your cardiologist.
All the best! Dr.Bardha
