What Is The Cause For Weakness And Weak Digestive System?
hi its about my mother
she had a valve tarnsplant abt 10 years back, she is 64, she is 39 KG and getting weaker, her digestion system is not helping her, how can be she strong, heart works 35%, she is on acitrom ( anticoagulant ) and also on diator or something so that urine is regular and no water gets logged in body
It appears that your mother is suffering from Frailty. It is a clinical condition caused by chronic illness compounding physiological decline of old age. There is weight loss (loss of muscle mass), fatiguability, difficulty walking or even climbing a few steps, low level of activity and weak hand grip. Some general principles of treatment are: Treat her medical condition properly. Ensure proper nutrition. Proteins, calories and vitamins. Keep her active, keep her out of bed as much as possible. Social stimulation. Physiotherapy helps to build muscle strength and also gives much needed human contact. She can even do exercises while lying in bed or sitting in chair. I hope this answers your question.
