Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a gastroscopy last Tuesday to look for casue of constant stomach ache. I had previously been diagnosed with H Pylori and this was treated with 3 differnt types of tables which seemed to get rif of the problem. This subsequently returned hence the need for the gastroscopy. This showed an inflammation of the stomach although the CLo test came back negative. I now have pain in groin and lower stomach and feel slightly constipated. What can be the cause of this. I did have tonsilltis 2 weeks ago. The pain in my stomach feels almost like a stitch on my right side. Am i just being paraniod. I did have high white blood count and CRP was 141 when I had tonsilitis and have been advised to go back for follow up bllods in 6 week
I would suggest you to get an ultra sound done to rule out appendicitis.IT is not possible with this scenario but it could be sub clinical.Better to repeat your blood tests and then get the scan.Along with urine routine is must.If there is a sub clinical urine infection then you may have this kind of constant dull aching pain.Rare possiblities may include to rule out typhoid.Because in case of typhoid there may be pain in the right lower quadrant. So Best to do an ultrasound scan and then follow up.Good day
