What Is The Cause Of A Flat Nasal Bridge?

My son is7months old and to me he seems to have a flat nasal bridge.none of the doctors have noticed it.hE WAS a term baby born with a left vocal cord palsy&had issues with feeding&breathing&wasin hospital for 100daysafter birth.i mscarewhether he has downssyndrome Maya

How are the child's milestones ? there are other signs of a Down's syndrome apart from the nose. Low set ears, webbed neck and a different skin crease in the palm of the hand. It is difficult for a mother to diagnose these and it would be best to bring it to the notice of your pediatrician.

If there is significant doubt about Down's , a simple blood test ( Karyotype) will diagnose it or rule it out completely. Since you are worried about this, please get this test done and report back.
