What Is The Cause Of Bottom Lip That Is Sore, Dry And Flaky And Nose Is Always Blocked?

Ssusanfoggo@My grandsn has has sore red rash under bottom lip that gets better but comes back. It gets dry and flaky also. Hes had it for weeks7. Now inside of bottom lip looks red. His nose is always blocked and has phlegmy throat with cough. Can u help please.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The soreness in the lip can be because of the recurrent aphthous ulcer. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical anesthetic like lignocaine. Do not get tensed or stressed, because stress can induce aphthous ulcers. The blocked nose can be because of the polyp or deviated nasal septum.. Consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, we can treat accordingly. Till then take steam inhalation.
