What Is The Cause Of Breast Soreness And Tenderness?
I recently starting taking horomone replacement and my breast the 1st week was very very tender and sore but the soreness went away on my left breast in about a week. I'm now into my 2nd month and my right breast is very tender and my nibble is very sore. My mammogram came back negative for 2 lumps in my right breast....do you think it's a cyst or could it be cancer...I know that is a lot to ask with this limited information.
I am so sorry to hear about this sore breast(right). It is difficult too tell if it is cancer or not with this limited information. What i will suggest is that these masses should be taken out first for your relief and secondly to give laboratory confirmation of what it is. Mammograms cannot tell whether a mass is for sure not cancerous or cancerous. All masses need a follow up tissue diagnosis. In your case, it will provide additional benefit of symptom control.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Feel free to ask for clarifications and more information if need be. I wish you well. Thanks for utilizing our services, we very much appreciate it. Dr. Ditah, MD.
