What Is The Cause Of Brownish Discharge From The Vagina After Post Menopausal Period?

i am 58 years old, have been post menopausal for 12 years. In February I had two short lasting episodes of thick clear gel like discharge about 3 weeks apart. About 3 weeks after that I had a short lasting episode of this clear gel discharge but it was streaked with brownish blood. Had sex a couple of days before and I really wasn t concerned, thought it was due to sex. A few days ago while taking amoxicillin for tooth implant surgery, I had a short lasting thinner brownish discharge with burning in outer vulva area. Am still having irritation feeling in vagina, but no discharge. Now I am concerned and have appt with my physician. What are the chances this is being caused by cancer and is a 2 - 3 month delay really bad.
