Hi, Over the past 2 /3 months I have had an out break of Canker Soars on the side of my tongue! 2 - 4 at A time! Some have A White line on them and some are just red lumpts that I can feel. Both hurt and are so irritating! Why do you think I am getting these soars? Thank You, Shell
Thank you for asking! You are having recurrent aphthous ulcers and they can mask many etiologies behind them.Oral vitamin B12 intake, topical oral steroid gels, topical tetracycline ,Chlorhexidine gluconate and bioadhesive (Gelclair) mouth rinses , garlic water mouth rinses,Topical anti inflammatory agents like benzydamine and amlexanox would get you through these symptoms. brush your teeth softly and slowly as they might be the reason for recurrent ulcers, keep the good oral hygiene , say in touch with your dentist and you would not have to worry about it any more. if the issue persist then seek a rheumatologist to see it in a broader perspective. take care
