What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain?

Hi I have now experienced a dull pain on my left side of my chest 3 times and each time it lasts for at least 7-12 min. The first time I had this pain I went and got an EKG and nothing was wrong. I got another chest pain in Oct 2013 and another one in Dec 2013. I went and got checked out again and this time the results were a pinch off. The doctor said something about tests being inferior. I don't know what he meant or what this all could mean.Thanks for your help.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion your doctor might be telling about inferior leads changes in ECG.
In ECG, there are many leads and waves. But lead II, III and avF are representative of inferior wall of heart.
So if you have ischemia of inferior wall, ECG changes will reflect in leads II, III and avF.
So your doctor might be used word 'inferior' in regards with inferior lead abnormalities on ECG.
So better to reconfirm this by repeat ECG and 2d echo through cardiologist.
Also show him your previous ECG s for comperision.
