What Is The Cause Of Epigastric Pain And Nausea?

2 days ago I experienced epigastric pain, nausea and later in day yellow liquid stools and an hour later pain in all my joints. I took a maxalon tablet which prevented any vomiting any eased the epigastric pain but pain in joints continued overnight. Next morning joint pain eased but still had one more dose of liquid yellow stool. I did not anything for breakfast and had just 2 dry cracker biscuits around 1pm with water and a small apple. I felt a lot better but wondered why I had a sudden onset of this fluctuating epigastric pain then severe pain in my joints? When all I had for breaky that morning was my normal 2 Weetbix and a cup of tea? I have been having the last few months some changes in my bowel movements (nothing like that so quickly though) and a bit of nausea and upset tummy. Blood tests only showed elevated ESR and low iron which my Doc said indicated inflammation and infection. I gave urine sample- all okay but have yet to go back to him for stool sample results which was 3-4 weeks ago( think it must be ok or the surgery generally ring if not) Most days my stomach feels unsettled. Any thoughts?
