What Is The Cause Of Excessive Sweating And Fever?

i am having fever for last 2 weeks only for 2-3 hours in the night and sometime in the morning. in between i sweat a lot. My normal foods tastes different and a light head ache. I tested my Blood/Urine for Typhoid during the first week of my fever, but it came negative. Still my Doctor says i am having typhoid and prescribed medicines for it

Thanks for posting your query .

Your symptoms points towards some infection with Indigestion problem . You mentioned about typhoid , there is test for Typhoid which if done early in the course of Infection may come negative falsely .

I advise you to get IgM Typhi Dot test done and revert back to me . Your taste abnormality is due to Antibiotics , it will go off once antibiotics are over . But persistent fever inspite of taking antibiotics means , the antibiotics are not working and needs to be changed . Kindly let me know what Antibiotics you are on .
