What Is The Cause Of Hair Fall Due To Armour Thyroid?
I switched from synthroid to armour thyroid about 1.5 years ago. In the beginning my hair fell out because I wasn't taking enough armour. Once I got up to 3 grains I was fine. About 7 months ago I started vyvanse. 4 months ago my hair started falling out again. i changed doctors and he reduced my armour because my T3 was over 300. Im' now taking 2 grains for 2 months. My hair is falling out like crazy. Is it from the armour or the vyvanse?? I also have hx of TAbd hys 16 years ago no hormone replacement
Hello, First i wanted to suggest you that while on armour thyroid a very careful follow up is needed, because it may cause fluctuations in thyroid hormones in blood. First you need to recheck the TSH level and if it is within the normal ranges, it is not the cause of your hair fall.
