Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last @ 6 months, I experience terrible pain in my legs when I sleep. It is usually just one leg. I am a side sleeper and it occurs on the side I am sleeping on at that time. It is extremely painful and wakes me out of a sound sleep. If I roll over on my back, the pain will subside.
This looks to me restless leg syndrome. Are you a smoker. It can cause such sensation called parasthesia. I would also suggest you to get your serum B 12 estimation as lack of vitamin B12 causes tingling and numbness and burning in feet. I would also suggest you to get vitamin D estimation and serum calcium level. Till that time you finished with all those investigation i would recommend you to take Pregabalin M tablet.
