Hi, I have recently been experiencing clear fluid running from my nose.. I have not had any kind of injury to my nose or head. I havent had a cold either.. I started taking quinine sulphate tablets approx 3 weeks ago & wondered could this be a side affect? I would appreciate your help. Thank you .
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe nasal discharge and clear fluid running from nose which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take proper preventive measures. You should avoid intake of oily, spicy and sharp food. Avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages. You should take combination of anti inflammatory medications along with antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get these lab investigations and x-ray done to find out exact cause of your condition and start treatment accordingly. You should take steam inhalation as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
