What Is The Cause Of Pain And Discomfort After Having Surgery?

Its almost 6 weeks since my abdominal Hysterectomy and I was feeling well except tired until I started two days ago feeling lots of abdominal aches and heaviness and my abs hurting when I get up out of a chair again or bed and when I laugh or sneeze. All I have been doing is walking and light house work and getting back to normal day to day activities. Is this part of normal healing to have the pain and discomfort I felt the first 3 weeks return at almost 6 weeks ? Thank you for any guidance

Hi,

Abdominal pain and discomfort is quite common phenomenon after the surgery, analgesics will be required only, ultrasound examination may also be required.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
