What Is The Cause Of Pain In Left Calf Which Has A Large Varicose Vein?
I have pain in my left calf - it is not a regular leg pain but a rather intense ache. This came on suddenly with no apparent cause - no exercise - nor is it the kind of pain due to exercise. It is not a cramp either. That calf happens to have a large varicose vein.

From history it seems that there might be having some vascular problem due to varicose vein.
Apply thrombophob cream locally and ice pack application.
Consult vascular surgeon and go for color Doppler to rule out deep vein thrombosis.
