What Is The Cause Of Painless, Movable Lump On The Neck ?
I have had a small, pebble sized lump - or perhaps a couple of them - I can t really tell - on the right side of my neck for a few years now. My GP felt it back then and said it was nothing to worry about, most likely and to just make sure it doesn t get bigger. Well...it. seems as if its grown a bit . Its not perfectly round and I can sort of manipulate it and move it around. Should I be worried about cancer? I have no pains and no other symptoms. Thank you!
seeing your history of many years of swelling, its most commonly because of benign condition.
i suggest to have FNAC from swelling to rule out cancer(your doubt)
FNAC definitely tell u regarding it being infected/benign lesion/cancer lesion;
Hi..dear missy..,
Thanks for choosing HCM..,
Small lump, Movable , painless and located on neck....
more favour to Benign tumor..,
So don't worry...,
First evaluate the tumor by doing....FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology )..,
and ruled out Malignancy...,
TREATMENT is Simple exicision.....
Hence meet General Surgeon.. ok thanQ
