What Is The Cause Of Poor Pumping Of The Heart?

My mother 56 year old was having mild ascites from the past month and after diagnosis it was because of the tuberculosis. She was continuously having fever and was required to have 5-6 500 mg paracetamol daily. It took lot of time to declare tuberculosis after lots of ct scans and ultrasounds. She stared having 2 pills and some antibiotic to dry the accumulated fluid in the stomach and some injection also(i guess the standard one).Soon after taking the pills and injections, she started feeling better and it was reduced to no paracetamol condition in a duration of 4-5 days. The lowering in amount of fluid accumulated in the stomach was also noticeable. After going through the same procedure for one week, one night she started feeling a intense pain in stomach and she started almost whining.the pain was so intense that she was not even getting relief after having lots of painkiller injections.Next day she was admitted into Metro hospital,Faridabad. Doctors again decided to do again CT Scans for identifying what the exact problem is.In the period no food/water was given to her as a result the pain faded away but the situation got burst in terms of the bad ECG and heart symptoms. After the diagnosis they told that the intestine is blocked and needs operation. Then she was transferred to Max hospital ,Delhi. Doctors waited for 1 or 2 days as the situation was not favorable to do operation. Finally doctors did the operation,it was successful. She was kept on the ventilator for the post treatment for the 4 days. But after 72 hours most of the things/symptoms seems fine. The only problem which happened was because of the poor pumping the fluid again got accumulated in the lungs. That was reason given by the doctors that poor pumping is the consequence of the heart attack ,she had on the previous hospital though we were not informed about this at the previous hospital. So my query would be to help me understand these much accurately and the problem of poor pumping in detail ?

hello,I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
As such to give you proper guidance i need to go through your actual reports including ECGs and Ct scan and blood reports etc.But I presume that she had abdominal tuberculosis leading to Ascites and she was on anti TB medicines.
many a times Heart attack comes with atypical symptoms like abdominal pain.in such situation when there is already existing abdominal disease any doctor will first try to find the cause in abdomen only,so it may be picked up late.secondly with coexisting acute abdominal condition inspite of knowing about heart attack one may not be able to go for angio and intervention,in such situation heart attack damages the heart and leads to weak pumping.
I guess such thing might have happened in her case.
However i can give my correct opinion after going through actual reports
