My Mother is 62 years old recently she experienced something on eyeball (as in an object is very very close to eye). She went to the doctor they told her that this is retinal fluid that has come out. She is prescribed vesoret tablet and olopat eye drop. Can any anyone explain what is the problem she is suffering from and is there any other diagnosis that can be done ?
Hello It seems from the history that your mother is having eye problem in the form of retinal fluid excretion and she is prescribed with vesoret tablet. Vesoret is a antioxidant tablet prescribed for age related macular degenerations. Hence from the hisotry and treatment I guess she is having age related macular degeneration. Olopat eye drops is prescribed for allergic diseases of conjunctiva. Hence along with age related macular degeneration she is having allergic conjunctivitis.
Thank you
