What Is The Cause Of Right Upper Quadrant Pain?
L fell on Saturday onto my right upper quid ant and it only started hurting on Tuesday. Hurts more so when I take a deep breath. Went to the emergency room on Wednesday. Diagnosed me with colitis. I forgot to ell them about the fall I don't feel it is colitis. It is not the same kind of hurt they did not do an X-ray or CT. Did do lots of blood work .. One was to check for blood lot. All test were good. I need to go back and let them know about the fall. It is very uncomfortable still. Scared it is phemonthorax or a blood clot???

The pain has developed after 3 days.
It is possible that the secretions of pleura are getting absorbed so you get pain on inspiration .
But it is very important to get the CT chest and abdomen as the injuries which manifest after a gap of few days can really be dangerous as we have seen in practice .
Go back and Visit for the tests .
