What Is The Cause Of Small White Bumps On Mons Pubis?
i just had a brazillian wax and noticed afterwards 3 small white bumps on my mons pubis. they dont really stick out, it is more the difference in colour to the surrounding skin which is red and sore that makes them visible. there are a few the other side but much less noticable. i dont know whether it is genital warts or just a reaction to the wax? i will see a doctor tomorow but i am really worried.
Sometimes while doing waxing there is a possibility of development temporary bumps or ingrown hairs leading to folliculitis. Minor lesions will subside soon without the need of medication. If there is any possibility of infection leading to folliculitis you may need to get treated with local antibiotics.
You can try cold compression, which can possibly relieve the redness and pain. If the bumps still persist better to consult your doctor and get examined as you are planning and take treatment accordingly. The possibility of development of warts immediately after doing waxing is less.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
