What Is The Cause Of Sore Hands With The Swelling In Them?

I am experiencing very sore hands with swelling in my right hand. When i let my right arm hang to my side my hand is throbbing with pain. I am havinv some carpel tunnel issues s i had with my left hand a vew years ago. Am i possibly dealing with some arthritis here?

Hi,
The fact that you have throbbing pain when hanging your hands indicate that you have some edema of hand. Arthritis involve joints which are tender and swollen hands in your case can be another episode of carpal tunnel syndrome. It is also advisable to check your serum uric acid levels.
Meanwhile, rest your hand, keep it elevated and use some analgesics like brufen.
