What Is The Cause Of Stomach Pain And Nausea?

I had a colonoscopy/endoscopy, ultrasound, and lab work which all came out normal. I continue to have upper stomach pain, left side pain, bloating, and nausea. Been on Zantac and Prilosec and nothing works. My doctor has now ordered a CT. What could this possibly be?

Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a gastritis which is an inflammation of the stomach lining. I suggest using Prilosec in the morning before breakfast. I also suggest to use antacids such as Maalox three times a day.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
