What Is The Cause Of Swelling In The Shin With Lot Of Walking After Got Hit In The Shin?
My grandmother fell and hit her shin pretty hard. There was some swelling, but after some acupuncture it reduced in size considerably. Later she did a lot of walking and now it's swelled up again, and now it looks like she has a bruise on her whole entire shin?
Traumatic hit injury can lead to bruise due to hematoma formation. If there is stress fracture in your leg bone then it is difficult to walk on it You will need X ray of knee and leg. Clinical examination is important.
Apply crepe bandage over leg or use supportive splint. Do ice fomentation and rest to leg.
