My tonsils and glands are swollen to almost golf ball size, it hurts to touch them and I can barely eat because it hurts to drink or swollow most food. I have had a massive headache with it and I had Nausea, but my so called doctor said nothing is wrong with me. I would like a second opinon. Can you help?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The swollen tonsil and the lymphnodes can be secondary to peritonsillar abscess or tonsillitis. Nothing to be panic, consult a good ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
