Dear Friend

These kind of jerks can be "Myoclonic Epilepsy"

Sometimes also "Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy"

They usually get precipitated by lack of sleep.

MRI Brain and EEG are required to make diagnosis.

Anti-epileptic treatment is required. So, consider meeting a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment.
