What Is The Chance Of Recurrence After A Pterygium Excision?
Hi, I am planning to get a helper to take care of my new born baby and this lady has recently done a pterygium excision last month. I am worried about the possibility of recurrence and the chance of passing it on to my new born baby. What is the chance of recurrence after a pterygium excision?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Pterygium, is connective tissue thickening of the sclera of the eye ball and is not a contagious disease, and it is due to the exposure to the ultraviolet rays, sunlight, or dust. After surgery, if it is cured ,with out any infection, it is not at all contagious . So you can continue her services, with out any fear. You take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods,to have good health, and resistance to the child. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank yo
