What Is The Condition When Right Ovary Is Not Found On Ultrasound?

This is my 3rd trans vaginal ultrasound of my right ovary. The first was seen with a cyst 3mm. and thought to be a torsion. I was recheck a week later. The cyst went down just a bit in size, but still a concern for a torsion. I only have my right ovary. Today had same trans vaginal ultrasound done, they could not find my right ovary. They also did an abdominal ultrasound can could not find the right ovary. What is next? I need answers. I am disabled and my funds are low. Thought this site would help!! My bad for thinking I could get an answer with out having to pay for it!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
I can understand your concerns .Do not worry. We will answer your queries even if your funds are low. Sometimes ovary are difficult to visualize due to fat or gas in bowel . I would advise you to go empty stomach next time to a senior sonologist. Chances of your ovary disappearing are very low. Feel free to consult us further. And relax , your ovaries have not vanished.
