What Is The Correct Dosage Of Keflex Capsules For Bacterial Infection Under Arms?
Hello. I have been prescribed Keflex Capsules (500mg) but the dosage is unclear. It says Take one capsule as directed . I ve never had an antibiotic that requires only one capsule per day and am wondering if the dosage is correct. I have a bacterial infection under my arms.

The drug keflex (Cephalexin) capsules 500mg is a broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat common infections caused by a variety of bacteria in different parts of the body.
As you are having bacterial infection of the arm pit you are being treated for and your doctors recommendation, which may be 1 capsule every 6-12 hours usually for up to 5-10 days.
Depending upon the severity of infection it can be increased to two tablet a day.
