What Is The Correlation Between Simvastatin And Dupuytren S Disease?
I am taking simvastatin to control high cholesterol. I developed a dupuytren s nodule at base of left ring digit at distal end of palm. My father is Eastern European and had Dupuytren s release of bilateral hands. what is the correlation between simvastatins and Dupuytren s disease?

I do not think dupuytren contracture can be caused by simvastatin, rather statin can be used by for treatment for this disease. Also there is hereditary role also so if your father has it you can also have it.
