The diagnosis with which she has been admitted, etc. Right now, I can tell you that sometimes there is a condition called gestational hypertension, in which the blood pressure shoots up during pregnancy and after childbirth. ALso, high fever could be due to various causes. There could be some complication during birth, leading to infection. There could be breast engorgement or a urinary tract infection, or a chest infection. Causes of fever are myriad and run into hundreds. Without more details it is difficult to say.
