Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Far fewer people die giving birth, if you look around, most dont !
So please stop worrying.
To have an exact estimate of her condition, more details are required.
The diagnosis with which she has been admitted, etc.
Right now, I can tell you that sometimes there is a condition called
gestational hypertension, in which the blood pressure shoots up during pregnancy and after childbirth.
ALso,
high fever could be due to various causes.
There could be some complication during birth, leading to infection.
There could be
breast engorgement or a
urinary tract infection, or a
chest infection.
Causes of fever are myriad and run into hundreds.
Without more details it is difficult to say.
All that is logical, is , that if she is under proper medical care, there is no reason to fear for her life.
If you can share more details, I can opine better.
All the best.
Take care.
