Hi,
Do not worry .Constipation is quite common in pregnancy and sentinel piles is nothing to worry of it .
one thing for sure ,take care that your bowel moves regularly and no straining at stool .
Take balanced healthy diet with plenty of vegetables and liquids. If needed take laxatives that suits you,
no need for surgery for sentinel piles .Once you take care of constipation the the fissure problem will heal with regular use of ointment like anobliss/anovate/proctosedyl etc
hope you be all right soon

hello,
decrease your worries and start taking care of your self along with your baby.
fibrous diet ( with roughage ) is very important as it makes the stools well formed and does not allow constipation.
treatments like mud packs, enema, cold hip bath, warm hip bath and an ice pack applied to the anus for 3-5 minutes are given to cure piles. Hot ( two minutes ) and cold (half a minute) pack on the anus (alternate) four times each morning and evening is very useful.
Exercises , walking, Yogic asanas and active lifestyle rather then a sedentary lifestyle are also contributing factors in treating piles.
constipation should be avoided, the habit of sitting on commode every morning be cultivated, practice of applying pressure should be avoided.
some oily substance like cream or vaseline be applied intermittently with the finger inside the anus.
take care.

OBGYN Dr. Sree Gouri SR's  Response
Hi,

According to the history given by you there is possibility that you are having external piles may be associated with fissure.
Hemorrhoids are arteriovenous channels along with connective tissue which help in passage of stools when they become pathological they became swollen and cause pain. Sentinal pile is only skin tag which indicate some internal problem.

Now what you can do is continue the treatment given by your doctor. As your stools become soft and constipation gets relieved the pressure on piles decrease so they will subside.

As you are undergone cesarean section you have to avoid acts which will increase abdominal pressure like bearing down to pass stools etc. which will affect you sutures in side the abdomen.

So, in future also you try to avoid constipation by taking plenty of fluids, fruits etc.

If you are experiencing excessive pain you can take stiz bath means keep one tub of luke warm water add some disinfectant like dettol and sit in it for some time, it will relieve your pain.

take care
