What Is The Cure For Recurring Small, Red Bumps On Buttocks Near Cleavage Which Is Itching?
for past 5 weeks I have recurring small, red bumps that itch on my buttocks near the cleavage. I have used antifungal cream and it goes away, but continues to go back. I've done nothing to see what happens, and it seems to spread some, but eventually will get really dry and then go away. Always comes back.
I can understand your concern for the recurring small, red bumps on buttocks near cleavage. It appears from your query that you have either an ingrown hair or a infected "sebaceous cyst" which now got infected.
Do not try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem and spread of the infection. For time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablets such diclofenac or paracetamol.
If it is increasing despite the treatment then meet a dermatologist or any family physician and get a proper treatment without delay for the oral antibiotic such as ciprofloxacin or cefadroxyl 500 mg two times a day for 5 days to prevent secondary infection.
You should meet a dermatologist or a surgeon for exact diagnosis.
Take care.
