What Is The Cure Of Continuous Bleeding From Cut On Scalp?

I have a cut on my scalp. It bled a lot at first, but I wasn't concerned since cuts on the face and scalp tend to bleed a lot. Pressure was applied for at least 45 minutes, and the bleeding was mostly down to a small ooze. It has now been 5 hours and it is still oozing blood.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern. It seems like you have got an artery bleed. Seal the would and bandage it with a sterile gauze piece after cleaning it with antiseptic and keep it there for 24 hours atleast. This will stop bleed, promote healing and prevent from infection. If the oozing area is large you may want to see a physician and get a stitch.

Hope I helped
