What Is The Cyst On The Lower Epididymis?

Everywhere I've looked on the net for epididymal cysts mention a lump above the testicle. I have a lump on the back side, but below my left testicle. I'm 41 and my mom was given DES when pregnant with me (which increases risk of epididymal cysts). Is it possible to have such a cyst on the lower part of the epididymis?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
It is possible to have a cyst or mass anywhere on the part of testis, epididymis and for that matter anywhere in the body.

I would advise you to get an ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum to confirm what it is / MRI is still a better choice for more clarity.
get an opinion of an Urologist who on palpation and USG report can tell you the best.
Since you are 41 and if you have completed your family the best way is to get operated .
This will help in two ways :
You will get rid of the disease.
And you get a confirmed report what the exact problem is.
I find this answer helpful
