What Is The Dark Circles Under Eyes Of Three Year Old Child?

My three year old daughter has very dark circles under her eyes, they almost look bruised, and they have been this way for a couple of days now. At first I thought she was just tired, but alas that was not the case. They have started to look quite dry...should I be concerned? Is there a vitamin deficiency thing happening? Please help...

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Nutritional deficiency can lead to dark circles around eyes.
Nutritional assessment of the child is required.
In addition, height and weight of the child for age have to be determined.
Her diet has to be improved by adding proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of fluids (water, fruit juices etc) in particular.
Specific vitamin deficiencies have to be determined and thus managed by adding vitamin supplements in diet.
A consultation with a dermatologist may also be added so as to examine the dark circles around the eyes.

Thanks and take care
