What Is The Difference Between COPD And Asthma?

What s the difference between COPD and Asthma? I ve been told I have COPD and am on Breo and Proair. Over the past three months, my breathing is getting progressively worse. Get winded walking across a room. Recently went on Prednisolone which gave relief while on it, but now back to the same old problem. Over the past 9 months have had 2 chest x-ray and a CT scan. All came back normal. Is it possible that my problem is Asthma? What should I be asking my doctor?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, actually you have not mentioned anything about the symptom that you have but you have simply expressed your doubt, actually COPD is Chronic pulmonary obstructive disease again underlying cause of this need to be found out, and Asthma is breathlessness, you have not mentioned your age and gender, else something more specific could have been advised, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
